This perforated rectangular pedestal base picnic table features a top and seats made of large-hole 11-gauge perforated steel with underlying extra support from 1½” x ¼” flats to prevent sagging. All edges and corners are rounded to a 2” radius.

The top and seats are coated with UV-stabilized thermoplastic coating, fused and baked to 90% gloss finish that not only imparts good looks but also in helps inhibit fading over years of sunlight exposure. Thermoplastic coating over steel is a premier choice for corrosion-free and maintenance-free outdoor furnishings.

The pedestal is made of 4” square steel tubing upright posts, bolted on 3” square galvanized steel tubing extension arms, allowing off-the-ground seat mounting. For added protection and good looks, the pedestal is coated with baked-on polyester powder coat.

Notes on Thermoplastic Colors & Finishes: Traditionally all colors of this product have been made with a gloss polyethylene finish but has changed to a matte polyethylene finish as of 5/1/08. The matte finish is less susceptible to marring and scratching that may occur with a gloss finish.
