More About Thermoplastic:
Our 166 series thermoplastic outdoor furniture is covered in a copolymer-based thermoplastic coating that is UV-stabilized and is highly resistant to both hard wear and severe weather. Thermoplastic is environmentally safe. The coating will not fade, crack, peel, warp, or discolor for the life of the product. Thermoplastic can be easily repaired. Cuts are repaired by heating the affected area with an industrial heat gun. The thermoplastic will rebound itself. The properties of thermoplastic also make spray painting pointless for vandals. Simply wash the product with a standard industrial cleaner.
The tables, benches, receptacles, and accessories are available in several different thermoplastic-coated metal patterns.
Thermoplastic Is Graffiti-Proof!
1. If spray paint is applied to the thermoplastic coating, it is very easy to remove using a common aerosol.
2. Simply spray WD-40 on the offending graffiti.
3. Watch as the dried paint is quickly eliminated from the thermoplastic surface.
4. It’s simple and SAFE!
145 Series Designer Thermoplastic
Our 145 series offers more than 500 different items in different styles and offers the option of choosing unique color combinations for the product base and frame. Our many styles and frame configurations of both tables and benches will enable you to achieve the distinctive look you want for your outdoor eating and seating areas. Additionally, all 145 series furnishings designed for wheelchair access conform to the latest
ADA
guidelines.
We call the 145 series our Designer Thermoplastic line because of the myriad styles that make up the line and the many color combinations available at no additional charge.
Thermoplastic coating over steel is a premier choice for corrosion-free and maintenance-free outdoor furnishings. Our 145 series tables and benches have become the standard everywhere that rugged, heavily used furnishings are required. These tables and benches are made with heavier steel and are constructed using sound, solid architecture to prevent sagging.
The tops and seats are coated with UV-stabilized thermoplastic coating, fused and baked to a 90% gloss finish. The high-gloss finish not only imparts good looks, but also helps inhibit fading over years of sunlight exposure.
Table and bench under-frames are made of heavy-wall galvanized steel tubing. For added protection and good looks, the frames are coated with a baked-on polyester powder coat.
Understanding Expanded & Perforated Metals
Perforated Metal is made when a sheet of metal is perforated with machine die. The shape of the holes are determined by the shape of the die. 145 series perforated metal site furnishings exhibit an attractive, decorative honeycomb pattern while providing strength that exceeds even the expanded metal and providing a relatively flat surface for food and drinks.
Since both expanded and perforated metal furnishings in our 145 series are coated with high-quality thermoplastic, the metal remains comfortable despite extreme heat or cold.
