2-Bike Double-Sided Heavy-Duty ”Hitching Post” Bike Rack - In-Ground Mount
Constructed of heavy 2-3/8” OD steel pipe, this bike rack provides a sturdy structure to which bicycles may be secured for parking and to prevent theft. It is hot-dip galvanized after fabrication to provide maximum protection from the elements. The attractive silver/gray finish never needs painting and won’t chip or scratch from use. This model features extended legs for in-ground installation.
The rack will secure 1 or 2 bikes. It may be used singly or installed as part of a group to provide the desired amount of bike parking. Additionally, these bike racks lend themselves to a large variety of installation patterns to fit the location-parallel, in rows, end-to-end in single file, along curved paths, or even radially around a hub or circular design feature.
This style of bike rack allows a variety of choices for securing of bikes wherever it is most convenient: the front wheel, the back wheel, the bike frame, or any combination of these locations. All types of bicycles will fit, and all popular locks may be used.
