The front edge of the grate is formed up to prevent food from falling off. The grate handles extend through the firebox by way of die-cut slots in the steel sides, permanently attaching the cooking grate to the firebox.
Other features include:
• 10H sides for better draft control
• 360 degree rotation in either direction
• Theft-proof attachment to the base post
• Coil spring grip handles made of 1/2”W steel flat bar
• High-temp nontoxic paint
