32”D Plate Steel Campfire Cooksite - 270” Sq. Infinitely Adjustable Grate - 9”H
This Campfire Cooksite combines the original Infinitely Adjustable cooking grate with a Flanged Fire Ring-a practical design combination for campfire control and convenient outdoor cooking. The finish is high-temp non-toxic Black Powder Coated paint.
The Fire Ring is made of a minimum 3/16”-thick steel plate with an integral formed 1”W flange around top edge. This flange provides extra strength against heat warpage and eliminates a vertical edge. Draft holes are provided for fire ventilation.
The 270” sq. cooking grate is Infinitely Adjustable vertically, from below the top of the Fire Ring to 7-3/4” higher. This cantilevered grate is structurally reinforced to resist hard use and vandalism. The cooking grate can be lifted over and out of the campfire ring, but remains permanently attached.
Tip-back anchor pins (standard) keep the campfire ring secured in one place, but allow it to tip up for easy cleanout.
Cooking grate adjustment handles, made from 3/4”Dia. steel, are turned outside of the firering, away from the fire. The handle grips are 1/8” x ½” coiled steel bar. The cooking grate is built using 5/8”Dia. steel perimeter bars and 1/2”Dia. steel grate bars.
Note: Grills and Campfire Cooksites will need extra maintenance in corrosive environments such as the seashore.
