4’L Wooden picnic table with one-piece welded end frame. Our tables have the convenient ”walk-in” design with nothing to step over; seats are attached, so there’s no tipping over, even when only one side is being used. The tables slide easily for mowing. The legs do not stick out behind the seats for people to tip over.
Our tables have five 2 x 10” wooden planks (three for the top and one for each seat). We use douglas fir lumber. We precision cut it and round off the saw cuts.
The frame is 14-gauge 1.5” OD steel tubing painted with rust-resistant finish. Top and seat supports are made of 1.5” x 1.5” x 3/16” steel angles. Our unique center channel ties in the three-board top to resist warpage, resulting in a flatter, stronger tabletop. The braces from the end frames attach to the center channel for added strength.
Self-tapping lag screws are standard—no match drilling of lumber, no holes in lumber for water to accumulate. Carriage bolts are optional. All fasteners are galvanized. Brown or green are standard frame colors.
Please note: This items is made from natural, unfinished lumber. While it is commercial grade, it is not furniture grade and therefore may contain cosmetic imperfections such as knots. You may add stains or varnishes to improve the look of your wood once it arrives.
