This 5-Ft. children’s table with a 1-piece welded end frame is uniquely downsized for children, and is great for playgrounds or wherever children gather. The table features the convenient ”walk-in” design, with nothing to step or trip over. Seats are attached, so the unit doesn’t tip when only one side is being used. The unit also slides easily for lawn maintenance, and the legs don’t stick out behind the seats for children to trip over.
The table is made of Douglas Fir Lumber. It is precision cut, and the saw cuts are then rounded off. The tables consist of five 2 x 10 wooden planks (3 for the top and 1 for each seat). Planks are pre-drilled.
The hot-dip galvanized metal frame is 14-gauge 1½” OD steel tubing. Top and seat supports are 1½” x 1½” x 3/16” steel angles. A unique center channel ties in the three-board top to resist warpage, resulting in a flatter, strong tabletop. The braces from the end frames attach to the center channel for added strength. Self-tapping lag screws are standard. Carriage bolts are optional. All fasteners are galvanized.
Please note: This items is made from natural, unfinished lumber. While it is commercial grade, it is not furniture grade and therefore may contain cosmetic imperfections such as knots. You may add stains or varnishes to improve the look of your wood once it arrives.
