A double-decker bike rack in a bike storage room is becoming a more popular choice as building managers realize providing secure bicycle parking can be a great amenity to promote.

This beautiful 112-unit luxury high-rise condominium is located on the Gulf of Mexico with access to sandy white beaches, incredible sunsets, family things to do and great shopping. (And of course, "Casino Row" is nearby).
What's also appealing about this residence along the gulf, is the ability to ride bicycles throughout the area. Park and forget the car. Hop on a bike and pedal along the beach and around town.
More and more Americans today own bicycles. There are an estimated 60 million people in the US who report they have ridden a bicycle in the past 12 months.

The management at Beau View Condos recognized this and added two double-decker bike racks to their bike storage room.

Each double-decker bike rack holds 10 bicycles. These free-standing units feature deep wheel trays that keep the bikes steady and upright. This indexing of bicycles is important because it can keep a bunch of bicycles stored in an orderly fashion.
When you have a number of bicycles that need to be stored in a small space, you don't want a situation where bicycles are falling on top of each other and a person has to yank and separate their bicycle from the pile. This is not only annoying, but it can cause injuries as well.
Loading a bicycle onto these two-tier apartment bicycle racks is easy. Pick the front of the bike up and place the front wheel in the cutout. Then, pick up the rest of the bike from the back and let the weight rest on the front wheel.
